Non-line technology: I

Perfect. I had gotten all the way through my post when lo and behold, my browser "suddenly quit." It must have known I was getting ready to talk smak on it.

Isn't it terrible that I can't duplicate the exact same thoughts from 10 minutes ago? I must be too impatient or lazy to care about the thoughts I'm putting out. No offense. I know I have so many fans and followers and I would never want to let you down..

So what benefit are we getting from the internet and cell-phones? What is the trade-off? What are we sacrificing? Has anyone thought of where it will take us? I'm very eager to continue looking this up because I just can't believe that people give it a second thought. Always on the phone. Always on the computer. Always connected. With a screen. What has this done to our communication? Some would say it has enhanced it because it made more people more accessible. It's opened our eyes to different cultures and news from everywhere.

So how do you have privacy? Has anyone heard of over-saturation? Fraud? Secret lives? Could there ever be "rules" for how to be on-line?

I gave up my personal cell phone about 2 years ago and I haven't looked back. Yes, there was a feeling of greatness to just be able to text. You don't have to talk or have a conversation- just a few words. Twitter before Twitter was. It was fun. So why don't I really miss it?

I do feel a little on the outside for not having it. I would probably be able to identify more with anyone than I do right now. I think I would be more interested in meeting people similar to me when it comes to this. I never thought I would seek to find others who are similar; aren't we supposed to seek out those that are different to keep ourselves diverse? I'll call myself and my choice "non-line" for all of you out there looking for the next catch phrase. If I can, I'll create more contractions in my thoughts so it might be more easily swallowed (i.e. "Brangelina," anything ending with "-gate")

I challenge anyone to come to terms with themselves, or educate/ persuade me otherwise.

Final thought. Has anyone asked themselves how I can write this particular article, given that it takes so much time on-line?
